My Favorite Christmas Songs
On the Austen Authors site, I once did a post about my favorite Christmas songs. I have a few as I can usually not pick one, so with such a variety of songs available, I thought I would do a bit of a redux. I’ve only got a couple here, but I thought it might do for a Christmas post. Consider it a Thursday version of Tuesday Tunes!
Mary’s Boy Child
Easily my favorite version of this song. The Boney M version is charming, but this one is a song from my earliest memories.
Cradle in Bethlehem
This song is also a song I love from when I was a kid, but in this case, it’s a much more obscure hymn. I sang it as a kid in choir when I was a teenager, and this is the best version out there.
George Winston Christmas Kanon
This is not exactly a traditional Christmas hymn, but American pianist included it on his nominal Christmas album. I was introduced to George Winston when I was in Japan in the early 90s, and have loved this ever since.
Certainly not an exhaustive list, but I hope you enjoyed it anyway!
